IHF expands cooperation with hospital and healthcare organizations.

The International Hospital Federation continues expanding it’s relations with international organizations related to the field of hospitals and health care.

With this the IHF will have the opportunity to cooperate and facilitate exchange of information with the International Network of Health promoting hospitals and health services (HPH), the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) and the International Alliance of Patients Organizations (IAPO).

The HPH is a network initiated by the World Health Organization – Regional Office for Europe that aims at improving the health gain of hospitals (and other health services) by a bundle of strategies targeting patients, staff and the community.

For its part, ISQua’s mission is promoting and supporting continuous improvement in the quality and safety of health care worlwide.

Finally, IAPO is a unique global alliance where members are patients’ organizations working at the international, regional, national and local levels to represent and support patients, their families and careers.

With this the IHF continues its road to develop, support and promote healthcare and hospital efficiency worldwide.
